Miss B from new til now....

I met Brian & Sonya at a wedding I did in the fall of 2006. She was so pretty and so pregnant! I had never done a maternity session, so I got up the nerve to approach her about doing one for her. I asked her to be my maternity model, and she said she wasn't too sure....completely understandable. I am not sure I would bare my big belly for a stranger! I gave her my card, and told her to think about it, and call me later.
I was so happy when she called a week later to make an appointment! Her mom and her husband talked her into it.
So here is my first maternity session, 10/2006:

A month later Miss B was born and I did her newborn shoot. She was so cute! She came again at 6 months. Such a big change! She could now sit up, smile and she had such a personality!
Here is her one year session. She brought along her halloween costume, too! What a cute little lady (bug!)

When her mama called last week, I could hardly believe that she is TWO already! Her birthday is a month away, but they wanted the pictures early, to pass out at her party.
Can you believe how much she has grown? Now she talks and she will do anything for a gummy bear!

When it was time to go, she told her mama "No, I'm stayin' here!" LOL!
She was a lot of fun, and I am glad we had a good session. I hope you have a great birthday Miss B!

No electric!

We were without electricity Sunday, Monday, and we just got it on today. I just want to say that I love electric! *grin*

So those of you that are waiting for proofs, just be patient and I will be getting them up today and tomorrow.

I had to get a new laptop last week, too, as my old one died....boooooohoooooo! So I had to reinstall all of my editing programs, my fonts, and all of my other 'stuff' on my new one. What a pain in the butt!

So, now that we have electric, and now that I have a new laptop, things should go a little smoother!

Nine month old

This is Mr C! I have been photographing him since he was two weeks old! I can't believe how much he has grown! He was teething, and so his tongue made an appearance in more than one photo! He also wasn't a big fan of the overalls, and he kept pulling at the top of them! I had to have his mom keep pulling down his hand!
Here is a peek for you to hold you over until I get his proofs ready!
See? The tongue and the pulling on the overalls!I love this one!Go Browns!I think that he was trying to throw it! It just kinda got stuck up there!

Ahhhhh....puppies!

These are my friend's puppies. They are 8 weeks old, and I think that they are mini yorkies. Their mom is only about 4 pounds. The female has been sold, but the male is still available!
This is the male. He is fluffier than the female.

Look how small they are!

Christmas Portrait Time!

Can you believe that it is Christmas portrait time again? I can't either!
Every year I kill myself and ignore my family for the months of November and December because I am trying to take too many appointments. Well, this year is going to be different! I am only taking a limited number of appointments in November and then in December I will only be taking appointments for new babies, and maternity portraits. Any session that is done in December will not be guaranteed for Christmas.
I am hoping that this will help with my stress level and I am hoping that it will bring back the joy of the holiday for me.
So shoot me an email: stutzmans5@netzero.net, or give me a call 330.279.2121 to set up your holiday photo session!

It's Olivia's Birthday!

My due date for baby #2 was fast approaching and I was scared to death! My oldest was just over one year old, so her horrible birth was still fresh in my mind! I certainly did not want to go through that again!

Often at night I would lay in bed and cry and beg God to let this baby come without any pain! I am sure God was laughing at me!

On the morning of September 3rd, at about 5:30am my water broke. I called my mom, because she was going to come and stay with Lauren, but I told her not to hurry because I wasn't having any labor pains yet. I decided to take a nice hot shower and the minute that my feet stepped on the bath mat to dry off, I had a huge contraction! Then about 3 minutes later I had another one! I called my mom, and told her to hurry!

She got to our house at about 8:00 and we took off for Orrville to the hospital. The pains were coming fast and furious! We got to the hospital just 9:00am, and I looked at Kurt and I told him that after all of this pain if they tell me that I am only 2 centimeters dialated that I am going to kick someone!

So they get me in a bed just after 9:00 and the nurse checks me. Right away she calls for the other nurses and they start rushing around with the warmer, new blankets, the dr's tools, and my husband said "What's going on?" And the nurse replied "Your wife is going to have a baby!" And then he says "yeah, but not right now right?" (remember that I was in labor for 44 hours with Lauren......FOURTY FOUR HOURS!!!) And she said "Yes! NOW!"

I started pushing at 9:30 and the chubbiest, darkest haired baby girl arrived on a beautiful, sunny, fall day at 10:25am. She weighed 9lb 3oz!

It was like a dream! It was so fast! It wasn't hard! Sure it hurt, but after Lauren's birth this seemed like a picnic! Right away I grabbed the phone and started calling people! The Dr was still stiching me up and I was calling everyone I could! "It's a GIRL!"..."She has HAIR!" (Lauren was bald, and at one she was still bald!"

We had agreed on Olivia for a name, but I still liked the name Maggie, so I had to look at her and say the names. Olivia just fit her. We chose Nicole for her middle name.

She was just the opposite of Lauren. Lauren had very little hair and what she had was white. Liv's was black and she had a ton of it! Lauren was very dark complected and Liv was white as a ghost! Lauren was so tiny and petite, and Liv was a chunck!

This is Olivia's three month picture, and it is one of my favorites! She didn't smile until she was three months old, and she hasn't stopped since!

Look at this face! She was so mad! But oh so cute! She is about 18 months old here. This was taken this Spring when she was 13½. Before braces and a haircut!

Here she is today. She is now 14, and an 8th grader! We love you Olivia!
