Mr B, one year old!

It is hard to believe that a year has gone since I first saw baby B!

He is now a big, smiley, happy boy!
And did he ever love his cake!! (well, he loved making a mess, I don't think that he ate too much of it!)
I think that this is the biggest mess I have ever had a baby make!! He was having so much fun!TTFN! Martha

My most cryingist customer ever!

This is Mr L. He does not like to get his pictures taken! He did a pretty good job at his three month session, I got a few smiles.....


At 6 months he was not feeling good, and he cried and they left. He came back when he was feeling better and he still cried....
At nine months....you guessed it....
this is from his one year old shoot....he hated the tub!

But I was pretty sure he would like the cake!

Wrong!!
I had my son Adam come up to the studio to talk to him and get him to smile, and I did get a few!
I hope that Mr L doesn't grow up to be famous, because the paparazzi will drive him crazy!

Ah, to be young and in love!

This is from my second wedding this year. The bride was getting ready for the day in their new house which was mostly empty. That was very nice for me because there wasn't any furniture to get in the way of shots like this one of her dress hanging in their bedroom window.


They also purchased my all day package, and decided to take all of the photos before the ceremony, which allowed us plenty of time to stop at a few locations and get some great shots!

I had scouted out locations the week before the wedding and I found this awesome field of wild mustard. I knew the moment that I saw it that I had to get this bride and groom's photos in the middle of it!
The one problem was that it had rained the day before the wedding and everything was still damp. I was determined though, and I had to get a little creative! I brought a clear plastic tarp, and two white sheets for her to sit/stand on, and we made it work! Danae was such a good sport and she didn't mind hiking her dress up and walking in the wet flowers!
I love the way that they look at each other....This was at the end of the day, right before they left. I used my flash off to the side and got some great photos of them, and the valley below!
It was a beautiful day, with a beautiful couple!

Miss A, then and now!

Miss A was such a tiny newborn! She was born a little early and only weighed about 5 pounds.
I have always loved this one!
Now she is one year old and such a big girl! She has the clearest blue eyes that I have ever seen! And she was a happy girl full of smiles!
Those cheeks! Those lashes!
It took her a few minutes to get used to the flowerpot, but once she calmed down, she had a few smiles!
I have been a bad blogger lately and I am trying to get caught up!

Casting call for a newborn....

I am looking for a NEW newborn. One that is less than 6 days old.

I have some new ideas that I am dying to try out with a newborn, but lately all of my newborns have been too old to stay curled up, and they have been wide awake! Ideally I am looking for a newborn about 4 days old. The session will take about 2-3 hours, so bring a snack and a drink and prepare to be here for a while!

If you want to be considered for this casting call, please call me with your due date, or call me as soon as you give birth! My calendar is getting full, and I want to make sure that I have room for you!

The session fee will be waived, however you can order prints at regular price.

I am also looking for newborn twins or triplets. I have some great ideas for them too!

They are off!

This morning my husband and Olivia left for Washington DC. We packed up everything last night, charged batteries, charged Ipods, packed snacks and a camera, and then they went to bed for a little sleep.
Then at 4:30 this morning the alarms went off and we got up and I saw them off! I, of course, I had to take a photo, but Kurt was not amused....he hates photos!
Have a good time! I will miss you!

Miss K is three!

I can't believe that she is Three already! I took photos of her at her first Christmas, first Birthday, second Birthday, and now her Third!

Miss H is one! I took her photo when she was an adorable 3 month old. I loved this photo so much that I blew it up big and I have it on an easel in the studio. It is gorgeous!She is now one and still so adorable!

A few from my latest wedding!

This couple had an amazing day to get married! It had rained and was nasty outside for most of the week, but by Friday the sun was shining, and by Saturday everything was beautiful!

June is nearly full!

I am full with weddings every weekend, and I will be traveling to KY to shoot my nephews wedding on the 13th. So we will be leaving earlier in the week for that trek south.

We will also be on Vacation in July. Those dates are not set yet, but I will let you know as soon as I know!
OK, I think we have the dates for our Vacation: July 18th-August 2nd. We are not sure where we are going, but we know that we are not going to FL this year. We have gone to my in-laws condo for the past 5 years, and although we are very grateful that they let us use their beautiful place, we are ready for a change of scenery!
