I *heart* babies of all kinds!

This is baby Q! He came for his first session when he was about 6 weeks old. My SIL made me this cute hat!

The next time he came, he was about 3 months old. He was just starting to smile, but I only caught a few slight ones.

I then saw him when he came with his brother and sister for Christmas photos! That was a tough session!!

Now Baby Q is ONE! I can't believe it! I knew that they had 6 week old kitties at their house, so I asked his mom if she would mind bringing them along for the shoot! How cute are these kitties??
and here is Q! He did not want to sit still, until we got out the fish bowl! He loved the water!

Lauren is Sweet Sixteen!

My sweet, first born child is 16 today! I can't believe it! Last year I posted about her birth. You can read it here.
So this year I thought that I would show you some photos of Lauren on past birthdays!
This is when she was one. My mom and I took her to Sears on her first birthday. Of course I had to buy her a red, white, and blue outfit for the shoot! She barely had any hair, so that hat covered that up!


Here she is at Two! She still had never had a hair cut! I wondered if it was ever going to grow! Just after this photo was taken, she tripped and fell on a hanger and slammed her face into the corner where two walls meet. She had a terrible bruise and when it healed she had a dimple!

Here is her Three year old photo. She was always very photogenic!

The year she was 4, we were broke! So I waited until fall and took the kid's pictures myself! You can really see her 'man-made' dimple in this one!

The summer that she turned 5, her and Olivia were asked to be flower girls. So I had their portraits made in their flower girl dresses. So pretty!

Since my children all have summer birthdays, we held them all out of school until they turned 6. This is a decision that I have never regretted. They are all bright students, and good leaders. This is her Kindergarten picture. It is one of my all time favorites! Two weeks before picture day we went to the beach, so she was nice and tan!

Now she is driving, and dating, and working for me with my business. She is a straight A student, and we are very VERY proud of her!
I need to get her in the studio for a recent photo, but until then, here is a recent photo of her from a wedding. She was standing for me so I could practice the shot before I went to get the B&G.

Brothers

I first met Mr J when he was about a week old. He was adorable then, and he is even cuter now! He will be three years old in just a few days!


Now he has a brother! Baby C is one year old, and he was less than thrilled to be here! Pretty much this is the look he gave me all night! I tried everything I could to get a smile out of him!! It looks like he is thinking "Seriously? You think that a duster is funny? An animal on your head? Really?"
I did get one smile! Look how he is holding on to his brothers foot!
Well, I guess not everyone finds me amusing!

Engaged!

I am excited to shoot Andrew & Angie's wedding this fall! They came for an engagement shoot last week. An engagement shoot is a great way for me to meet the Bride and Groom and get to know them before the big day.

I also can design a "Save the Date" postcard for you with an image from your session. Save the date cards are becoming more popular with today's brides and grooms.
They were looking for a formal photo for the newspaper, as well as a few fun shots!

I love this one, because it shows the height difference!

Patriotic kids!

Miss M is now 8 months old! I can't believe how fast the babies that are on my 'baby plan' grow! She is still a little stingy with her smiles, but I caught a few of them!
Her Big Brother M had a birthday too! He is such a cutie, and is always very photogenic.


I love the outfits that their mama chose! They are so cute!

My favorite Pop tarts are discontinued.....

I called Kelloggs and was told that the chocolate vanilla cream pop tart was discontinued on 01.05.09 . I asked why and she said they determined it was not a popular flavor. RIP vanilla cream pop tart...you will be dearly missed.

Mr J is one! and oh so big!

This is Mr J! He just had his birthday and he is so big! He is very tall and very cute! Look at his big blue eyes!

I made this giant cupcake with my new pan from Wilton. I absolutely *love* it! Contact me if you would like a giant cupcake for your baby's first birthday!

He was getting his clothes changed and he started playing peek a boo with one of my towels. He looked so cute, so I scooted him over in front of the light and snapped a few! Isn't this the cutest?

Finally, a girl!

After a day full of boys, it was nice to have a girl in the studio! This is Miss A's nine month session. I can't believe that she is almost one! Time flies when the baby isn't yours!

4 appointments, 5 boys, 1 day!

Baby L was a perfect newborn! His skin was clear, he slept the whole time, and he never made a peep! I love his chubby squishy face!

He even had a smile or two!


A new set up for me!
This is Baby C... he just turned one and here is a look back at his first year of life!

And now he is one! He can walk now, and was way too busy to sit still for long!

Baby A was my second newborn of the day! He was also a sleepy baby, and he never cried once! He was also very smiley (or maybe that was just gas!)!
