My daddy........

I have been trying to post something for a couple of days now, and I just can't do it.

Last Sunday my dad had a heart attack at church. He went to the Pomerine Hospital, and they transfered him to Aultman. They found a lot of blockage in his heart.

He was doing better by Friday and they said that he could go home on Monday. (That would have been today.....oh how I wish that it was today) Saturday he got out of bed, he walked a little, he sat in a chair and ate his breakfast. They stood him up after breakfast and he said he felt dizzy.....He then collapsed, and he was gone. They got him into bed and worked on him for 30 minutes and they couldn't get him back.

I miss my daddy.

Three weeks old

A couple of One year olds from this week....

I am so busy that it is hard to find time to blog. I did want to share these two cuties.

Miss I will be one this month. She doesn't walk yet, so it was easy to get photos of her standing. Once they walk it is hard to keep them in one place!

My afternoon with my son.....

This is not really how I had planned to spend my afternoon, but today Adam and I spent the afternoon in the ER!

Yesterday we had a family Christmas party/reunion at a local school. The kids were all in the gym playing ball, and Adam bent down to pick up a soccer ball and at the same time his 2nd cousin was gearing up to kick it. He ended up kicking Ad in the hand in the thumb area.

When we got home, it was hurting him and a little swollen. But this morning it was black and blue and swollen and very sore. The bad thing is that it is his right hand, and he is right handed. He had a hard time writing at school.I called the Dr. and they said that he should be X-rayed. So once he got home from school, we went to the ER to be seen and to get some X-rays.

Here is his xray. The Dr said that there is a slight fracture and so he wants to keep a splint on it for a week and then we are to get it checked again. =(Me, squishing his head! We were passing time waiting for the dr!

Here is his spint and wrap:And yes, we know he needs a haircut! But he likes it long.....So tomorrow night he will do his speaking part in the school play with a splint! Ahhhh....he will be ok! He was feeling pretty good once we left the ER and then we stopped and got him some fast food for supper! Doesn't that always make everything better??

Christmas baby girl

How sweet is this Christmas baby girl? Miss K is 6 weeks old and she was a perfect little baby! Not too many smiles, but there was no crying either!

Cousins

Even though these guys came one day apart, they are cousins, so I thought that I would put them in the same post.

What will we do to get a great photo??

Last week we had a shoot with a nice little family. I started taking their pictures three years ago. It has been so nice to watch their family grow.

This year their twins are almost two and Little Miss L would not leave her mama's side. They thought that she would do better without them in the studio, so her mama handed her over to dad and she went and hid. Then it was dad's turn to hide, so he handed her to Olivia and he went downstairs. She cried for a few minutes, and then she was fine. But whenever Olivia tried to put her on the stool she would cry! So after a few times of that happening, I had the idea of sitting Liv on the stool and putting L on her lap.

Here is the picture of Miss L. It's not a perfect smile, but, hey, she's not crying!

J, almost two
